Angola’s Ministry for Industry plans to continue with its Programme for Industrialisation and Fostering Small-scale Industry in Rural Areas, Minister Bernarda Gonçalves Martins said Friday in Caxito.
At the opening of the First Consultation Council of the Ministry for Industry, held in the city, the minister noted that the programme would help the government to understand the country’s industrial fabric as a whole.
Martins also announced the launch of a study to create an agro-industrial hub in Bengo province and noted that the information system of the Ministry for Industry was available for use by industrial companies.
As well as the Programme for Industrialisation and Fostering of Small-scale Industry in Rural Areas, the Consultation Council also discussed the 2013-2017 Industrialisation Programme, according to Angolan news agency Angop. (macauhub)
