Trade between mainland China and Macau fells 16.5 pct to US$480 million in January/February

Trade between mainland China and Macau fell by 16.5 percent year-on-year to US$480 million in January/February, the Trade Ministry said Wednesday in Beijing.

In the two-month period exports from mainland China to Macau fell by 5.7 percent to US$440 million, whilst imports from Macau totalled US$40 million, which was a drop of 63.8 percent.

In February trade between mainland China and Macau fell 34.4 percent year on year to US$190 million, with China exporting goods worth US$170 million (33.5 percent less against January) and imported goods worth US$20 million (43.5 percent less than in January). (macauhub)
