Angolan airline Taag is due soon to take delivery of a new Boeing 777-300 ER from an order of three aircraft agreed in 2013 by the company’s board and the US manufacturer, the Transport Minister said in Angola.

Saying that the aircraft would arrive soon, Minister Augusto Tomás noted tat the exact date would be announced “in the next few days,” according to Angolan news agency Angop.

Each aircraft costs US$36 million and US secretary of state John Kerry on a recent visit to Angola announced a loan to Angola from the US Export-Import Bank to buy a Boeing 777. (macauhub/AO)
