Sao Tome and Principe wants to cooperate with Angola in renewable energy sector

Sao Tome and Principe plans to cooperate with Angola to boost institutional capacity, renewable energy, water treatment and protection of biodiversity, according to a memorandum signed by the two governments.

The memorandum, which was signed by Angola’s Environment Minister, Maria de Fátima Jardim, and José Maria da Fonseca, Sao Tome and Principe’s Secretary of State for Infrastructure and the Environment, outlines cooperation with Angola on environmental impact studies and updating and creating legislation.

During their stay in Angola, the Sao Tome Secretary of State and the delegation took part in a number of activities, including a visit to the 4th International Environmental Technology Fair, which ended Sunday. (macauhub/ST/AO)
