10 June 2014

The Cabo Verde (Cape Verde) archipelago is 10th on a list of 50 emerging economies that will be most sought out by tourists over the next ten years, according to British daily newspaper the Daily Mail.

On the list cited by the Cape Verdean press, the archipelago is ranked behind Thailand (9th place) and ahead of India (11th place).

According to the newspaper the Cabo Verde islands are often called “the African Caribbean” mainly because of their beautiful beaches and their green mountains.

Cabo Verde’s economic and political stability are also considered to be a factor in the archipelago’s increasing popularity. (macauhub/CV)
