The Angolan government plans to present its strategy for the mining sector at the “Mining on Top” meeting from 24 to 26 June in London, United Kingdom, the Angolan Ministry for Geology and Mining said Friday.
The presentation, which will be given by Geology and Mining Minister Francisco Queirós, will cover public management of mining resources, public facilities to support the National Geology Plan, business opportunities and current results.
In London Queirós will also take part in a round table meeting organised by the centre for international relations at Chatham House, where he will speak about the development of the Angolan mining sector.
“Mining on Top” 2014 will be attended by guests representing DR Congo, Mali, Namibia, Mozambique, Ghana, Lesotho, Tanzania and Uganda. (macauhub/AO)
