Brazilian government launches foreign trade website

8 July 2014

The Brazilian government has launched a website to promote foreign trade that can be accessed at http://www.brasilexport.gov.br/, said the Ministry for Development, Industry and Trade.

BrasilExport, Guide to Foreign Trade and Investment, provides information on how to export, import and invest, as well as about logistics in Brazil, tariff agreements and news and events about foreign trade.

The information on the website is in Spanish, English and Portuguese and is an up to date compilation of official figures, which is intended to promote trade between Brazil and other countries, as well as to attract foreign investment.

The website also provides a question and answer tool to answer specific questions.

“BrasilExport is an important platform as it brings together, in the same virtual space, a variety of information that is relevant to trade activities,” said the Brazilian Minister for Development, Industry and Trade, Mauro Borges. (macauhub/BR)
