France and Angola consider boosting economic cooperation

The French ambassador to Angola, Jean-Claude Moyret said at a ceremony to celebrate Bastille Day in Luanda that a two-way commission was working t identify opportunities for economic cooperation with Angola.

The diplomat also said that a French business mission would visit Angola in the next few months to consider increasing investments and boosting cooperation.

Jean-Claude Moyret noted that at the beginning of July representatives of both countries had prepared a draft of the next Professional Visa Facilitation Agreement, which will follow the Agreement on Official Visas, which is already in place.

The French ambassador also announced that in December of this year there would be an Angolan business forum in Paris and noted that two-way relations were already significant in the oil sector.(macauhub/AO)
