The city of Luanda, in Angola starting Thursday is hosting the Economic Forum of Portuguese-speaking African Countries as part of the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of the Business Conference of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP).
According to a statement from the CPLP, the forum is intended to boost Portuguese-speaking Africa’s business sector, as well as to drive balanced cooperation between public and private economic agents from Africa and other parts of the world.
Political leaders, government members, representatives of business associations and successful entrepreneurs and managers are attending the event.
A new member of the CPLP, Equatorial Guinea, will attend the Forum.(macauhub/AO)
