Over 800 exhibitors from 41 countries will showcase their products and services between Tuesday and Sunday of this week at the Luanda International Fair (Filda), Angola’s largest multi-sector event.
This year’s special guest at the fair is the host country, Angola, taking into account the country’s economic development, fair manager Luiana Silva Valejos told Angolan news agency Angop.
Amongst the participating countries, as well as Angola, are Germany, Brazil, Portugal and Cabo Verde (Cape Verde) as well as Zimbabwe, Kenya, the Czech Republic and Vietnam, which are taking part for the first time.
Valejos said that the four countries that are taking part for the first time will not exhibit any products but that around 90 businesspeople would take part in meetings during the six days of the fair.
