Brazil’s Embraer increases aircraft sales in second quarter of the year

Brazilian aeronautical company Embraer delivered 29 executive jets in the second quarter of the year, or 7 more airplanes than in the same period of 2013, which allowed the company to increase net revenues by 21 percent.

Embraer posted a net profit of 319.8 million reals in the period from April to June 2014 compared to  9.9 million reals in the same period of 2013.

Sales totalled 3.9 billion reals in the second quarter of the year.

Sales of commercial aircraft accounted for 55.2 percent of total revenues, sales of executive jets accounted for 23.9 percent of the total and deliveries of military jets accounted for 20.3 percent. (macauhub/BR)
