America’s ExxonMobil aims to continue investing in Angola

ExxonMobil plans to continue investing in Angola’s oil sector, where it already participates in the exploitation of bloc 15, besides examining other areas of interest, the group’s vice-president, Randy Broiles, said on Thursday in Washington.

At the end of a meeting with Angolan Vice-President Manuel Vicente to study growth possibilities and eventual new investments by the US oil company in Angola, Broiles said the value of investments would depend on results of ongoing research and drilling.

“We are now developing the second phase of the Kizomba project and will work with Sonangol to identify other investment areas,” said Broiles, as reported by Angop news agency. (macauhub/AO)
