Cabo Verde Bank BCA opens credit line for SMEs

15 September 2014

Cabo Verde’s (Cape Verde’s) Banco Comercial do Atlântico (BCA) has decided to open a new credit line of 1 million euros for projects by small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the bank’s president announced in Cabo Verde.

António Castro Guerra announced the new line of credit at the ceremony to present the refurbishment of the bank’s headquarters, “one of the most iconic and oldest buildings of the historic centre of the Plateau, where BCA’s headquarters have always been,” according to Cape Verdean newspaper A Semana.

The headquarters of the BCA were also previously home to the now defunct Banco Ultramarino and later to the Bank of Cape Verde before Banco Comercial do Atlântico moved in shortly after it was founded in 1993. (macauhub/CV)
