Representatives of three Brazilian dairy sector companies will take part in meetings in Luanda with representatives of Angolan companies to identify business opportunities, the Brazilian press reported.

The visit is part of the Sector Project for Promotion Brazilian Dairy Product Exports – B Dairy, established by Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brazil) and the Organisation of Brazilian Cooperatives (OCB).

The delegation is scheduled to arrive on 6 October and depart on 10 October. On 9 October the Brazilian companies will meet with Angolan companies in order to explore potential business opportunities.

Mococa, Tirolez and Itambé are the companies that make up the delegation, as well as the official responsible for the Dairy project, and the products on offer to the market include yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, butter, milk, dairy drinks and other dairy derivatives.

The B Dairy project, which currently involves 10 companies, was created to increase Brazilian exports of dairy products.

Brazil is the world’s fourth largest milk producer, with 32 billion gallons per year, 5 percent of which is destined for export. (macauhub/AO/BR)
