One hundred Angolan companies are taking part, on 17 October, in the first forum of suppliers to the oil sector, promoted by the Business Support Centre (CAE), the centre’s coordinator said Monday in Luanda.
Job Vasconcelos said that the forum was intended to connect the Angolan companies in the sector and other potential investors in the Angolan market, and identify goods and services produced in the country.
The coordinator of the CAE said that the meeting also aims to promote the entry of Angolan companies in the oil sector through business opportunities and local partnerships, according to Angolan news agency Angop.
The forum, entitled “National Content for the Economic and Social Development of the Country,” will address the topics of national involvement the oil sector, policies, implementation and supervision and the contribution of Angolan entrepreneurs in the oil sector .
As well as showcasing products and services, certificates will be presented to the most notable companies in the sector, in the categories of enterprise, social responsibility and company of the year 2014. (macauhub/AO)
