Timor-Leste’s revenues for 2015 expected to reach US$2.5 billion

The Prime Minister of Timor-Leste (East Timor), Xanana Gusmao, on Wednesday delivered the country’s 2015 State Budget to parliament, outlining revenues of US$2.5 billion.

Total estimated expenditure included in the Timor-Leste 2015 State Budget is US$1.5 billion.

“The state budget should begin to be discussed in November,” said the President of the National Parliament, Vicente Guterres.

According to the Government, the estimated revenue will come from the oil sector, the non-oil sector as well as tax and other revenues from loans. (macauhub/TL)
