Over a thousand companies showcased at Macau International Fair

Over a thousand companies will be represented at the Macau International Fair (MIF) which starts on 23 October, said the president of the Institute for Promotion of Trade and Investment of Macau (IPIM).

Jackson Chang said Monday that Macau wants to become a platform or distribution of of food from the Portuguese-speaking nations.

The President of IPIM also said that the 19th edition of MIF, which will take place over four days, will showcase associations and organisations from 50 countries and territories and cover an area of 30,000 square metres and 1,900 stands.

“Macau has the backing of Beijing to build a centre for commercial services for small and medium businesses and a warehouse for food from Portuguese-speaking countries,” said Chang. (macauhub/MO)
