Viana industrial hub, in Angola, home to five more companies

Five new companies will be inaugurated Wednesday in the Viana Industrial Development Hub, the head of the department responsible for promoting the institution, Rui Manuel said Monday in Luanda.

Cited by Angolan news agency Angop, Manuel said the five companies will manufacture and or sell building materials, plastics, electrical cables, amongst other things and heir inauguration is part of the opening festivities of the 16th anniversary of the development hub on 12 November.

The Viana Industrial Development Hub is an area for ​​development of industrial projects in Luanda, created by the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers in Resolution No. 4/98 of 27 March, as part of the master plan for re-industrialization of Angola.

The hub covers an area of ​​2,700 hectares, divided into three zones: zone A, the oldest, zone B that has been developed more recently and zone C is intended primarily to focus on logistics.
