The city of Lubango, capital of Angola’s Huila province, in 2015 will host an International Business Forum, as part of the “Angola Invests” program provincial governor, João Marcelino Tyipinge said Monday.
The governor, speaking at a year-end greetings ceremony, said that the forum aims to attract potential domestic and foreign investors.
Cited by Angolan news agency Angop, the governor of Huila said the aim was to bring together entrepreneurs and economic operators, as the province has a number of resources that need to be explored.
The governor of Huila said it was necessary to diversify the economy by focussing on the agricultural and industrial sectors as they are important for the development of the region. (macauhub/AO)
