China’s Huawei group trains 800 technicians in Angola

A subsidiary of Chinese group Huawei in Angola has already provided training in telecommunications to over 800 Angolan technicians, the CEO of the company, James Yang said recently.

Speaking this week at the launch in Luanda, of the Huawei Ascend P7 smartphone recently launched on the international market, the President of Huawei Angola pointed out that since 2006, when the brand was created in the Angolan market, the company has created more than 500 jobs in the country.

Yang said the company’s objectives for 2015 are to consolidate its leading position in the market in terms of smartphones sales, increase brand awareness and position it as a product that offers a high performance and low cost.

The Huawei Ascend P7, with 4G LTE connection, has a 5-inch screen, high definition, 8-megapixel front camera and a 13 megapixel rear camera. (macauhub/AO/CN)
