Angola receives industrial coffee machines from Delta Cafés group

5 February 2015

Mayor, the first coffee-making machine for the professional segment produced by Portuguese group Delta Cafés, will be sent to Angola in order to fill its first orders, the group’s chairman told Portuguese financial daily Diário Económico.

The founder and president of the group, Rui Nabeiro said there were already a number of orders from Angola “which will be shipped next week in order to be sent to customers by our subsidiary in that country.”

Kicking off the Tecnidelta II production line, Nabeiro stressed that the group had invested 1 million euros in production of the Mayor coffee machine, and noted that Spain was another “natural market for the placement of Mayor.”

The Chairman of Delta Cafés group recalled that the commitment to make a machine for the professional segment “was a plan we had since the 1980s” and added that Delta planned to produce 4,200 of these coffee brewing machines.

This is the first machine that the group founded by Nabeiro has developed and produced for the restaurant sector coffee brand, and it previously imported equipment from Italy. (macauhub/AO/PT)
