A new direct flight will connect Recife, Brazil, to Cabo Verde (Cape Verde) from next June, and Cape Verdean airline TACV will use a Boeing 737-800 with capacity for 174 passengers on the route, the Brazilian press reported.
The connection between Recife, the capital of Pernambuco state and the city of Praia, the capital of Cabo Verde, will take about three hours and 20 minutes and this new international flight will also serve as an immediate connection to Lisbon (Portugal), Paris (France) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands).
The flight will be weekly, and with this new connection to Recife now has six direct flights to international destinations – Lisbon, Miami, Panama City, Frankfurt and Buenos Aires.
Cabo Verde’s flagship air carrier already flies to Fortaleza, the Ceara state capital, also in northeastern Brazil. (macauhub/CV)
