The business mission visiting Guinea-Bissau from 4 to 8 March will be an opportunity for Cabo Verde Investimentos (CVInvest), together with chambers of commerce, to promote business, said the president of the institution.
“It will be essentially a business mission for meetings between Cape Verdean and Guinean businesspeople, which will be the start giving some body to the talk about the internationalisation of Cape Verde companies,” added José Duarte cited by Cape Verdean news agency Inforpress.
The president of CVInvest said that the mission, led by the Minister for Tourism, Investment and Business Development, Leonesa Fortes, will continue to identify and consolidate the potential of economic and business relations between the two countries.
“It will also be a time to present business opportunities and perhaps cross-investment between Cabo Verde and Guinea-Bissau,” said Duarte.
The economic mission to Guinea-Bissau will favour the sectors of construction, training, new technologies, port management, transport and agriculture, among others. (macauhub/CV/GW)
