Brazil’s Embraer delivers 32 aircraft in the 1st quarter

Brazilian aeronautical company Embraer delivered 20 commercial jets and 12 executive jets in the first quarter of 2015, the company said in a statement.

At the end of March Embraer’s firm order portfolio was worth US$20.4 billion.

In March the company announced it received an order for fifteen E175 jets (seating for 88 passengers) and two E190 aircraft (114 passengers) from KLM Cityhopper.

The contract signed at the time included options for 17 additional E-Jets for KLM Cityhopper or for HOP!, which is a regional subsidiary of Air France.

The value of this contract is US$1.5 billion if all options are exercised, with the firm order for KLM Cityhopper worth US$764 million.

In the first quarter Embraer signed a firm contract for five E175 jets with Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (macauhub/CN/BR)
