The capital of Cabo Verde (Cape Verde), Praia, will soon have a business park to attract domestic and foreign investors in the sectors of services, industry and distribution, the president of the Luanda Business Association, Francisco Viana said Wednesday.
The announcement was made during a visit by the President of Cabo Verde, Jorge Carlos Fonseca, to the Viana district on the outskirts of Luanda, to learn about the implementation of World Trade Centre/Angola, which is intended to be one of the largest logistics park in Angola .
Viana, who is also president of the CPL, the promoter and manager of the World Trade Centre/Angola, said there were also plans to install a similar facility in Praia soon.
“I am preparing to set up a similar business park in Praia, which is a project involving the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Cape Verdean entrepreneurs and institutions, as part of the economic cooperation between Angola and Cabo Verde,” he said, cited by Cape Verdean newspaper A Semana.
The World Trade Centre/Angola already has dozens of large and small business and the park will also be the location of a hospital and business and craft school. (macauhub/AO/CV)
