Triton Minerals hires Rubicon Resources for operation in Mozambique

Australian company Triton Minerals has hired Rubicon Resources to supply fundamental services to support its mining operations in Mozambique, the company said in a statement issued Wednesday in Perth.

According to the statement, Rubicon Resources will support Triton Minerals in key aspects of the development and operation of three graphite projects in Mozambique – Monte Nicanda, Ancuabe and the Pemba graphite processing plant.

Rubicon Resources, through its subsidiary in Mozambique PacMoz Lda., will provide services such as obtaining permits and licenses, administration, human resources, including recruitment, contract management, training and residence permits as well as legal support.

PacMoz will also provide logistics services to Triton Minerals and in the longer term medical services, as the company plans to install a clinic in Pemba.

In the same statement Triton Minerals said it had selected Mozambican mechanical and aeronautical engineer Gidião Mbanze as director of the project in Mozambique. (macauhub/MZ)
