São Tomé and Príncipe grants visa exemptions to citizens of Europe and the US

The government of São Tomé and Príncipe decided to allow citizens of EU member countries and the United States of America who are valid passport holders to stay without a visa in the country for a period of no more than 15 days.

“The same visa-free entry and stay for the same amount of time is granted to citizens of any other country provided that hold a passport that is valid for more than three months and a valid Schengen or US visa,” said a statement from the São Tomé Cabinet.

The government of Prime Minister Patrice Trovoada instructed the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Communities, Internal Affairs and the Economy and International Cooperation within a maximum period of 30 days, to submit a draft regulation for the measure adopted. (macauhub/ST)
