Brazil’s Embraer delivers 92 aircraft in the 1st half

Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica (Embraer) delivered 47 commercial aircraft and 45 executives jets in the first half of 2015 and 27 commercial aircraft and 33 executive jets in the second quarter, the company said in a statement issued Thursday.

Embraer, announcing the results of the first half and the second quarter, also reported it had received 102 form orders in the second quarter for the current and for the second generation of commercial E-Jets, reaching a total of 124 firm orders since the beginning of the year.

As a result of aircraft deliveries, as well as Defence & Security business revenues, net revenue reached 4.661 billion reais in the second quarter and net income attributable to shareholders totalled 399.6 million reais.

In the second quarter, the company issued US$1 billion in bonds with an interest rate (coupon) of 5.050 percent maturing in 2025, yielding a revenue of US$996.8 million that will be used to repay debts and for the general activity of the company. (macauhub/CN/BR)
