Entrepreneurs and investors now have one-stop shop in Cabo Verde

6 August 2015

A “one-stop shop” for entrepreneurs and investors will contribute to improving the business climate in Cabo Verde (Cape Verde), the country’s Minister for Tourism Investment and Enterprise Development said Wednesday in Praia during the opening ceremony.

Called the Technical Service Support for Economic Operators, the so-called one-stop shop brings together all the services and information relating to investment and business in Cabo Verde in one place.

After the inauguration, Minister Leonesa Fortes said that with this service, business owners no longer have to go through various state departments to resolve issues related to their businesses.

In addition to providing services for foreign trade operations and licensing and industrial operations, the Technical Service to Support Economic Operators provides information on issues related to commercial, industrial and tourism licensing, among others.

The opening of the Technical Service to Support Economic Operators, according to the government, is part of the simplification and modernisation of the service provided to entrepreneurs in the modernisation program of the Cape Verdean Public Administration. (macauhub/CV)
