The first edition of the Cabo Verde (Cape Verde) International Environment and Renewable Energy Fair (FIAER 2015) has been postponed until the first half of 2016, announced the Sotavento (Windward) Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services.
In a statement, the Chamber of Commerce said “various kinds constraints, such as the proposed date of the event, reaction and preparation times, especially of foreign participants, as well as impediments in terms of corporate schedules, especially of foreign companies, meant it was impossible for these potential participants to take part in the fair.”
This year’s edition of the International Environment and Renewable Energy Fair was due to take place from 15-17 October.
Announcing the event’s postponement, the Sotavento Chamber of Commerce Industry and Services said the idea of holding an International Environment and Renewable Energy Fair had been welcomed by the public authorities, national and international entrepreneurs and international cooperation partners.
