The new coordinator of the Support Office to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macau Forum) takes office on 3 November, according to official sources.
Cristina Gomes Pinto Morais’s role is outlined in an order of the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Lionel Leong, published Thursday in Macau’s Official Gazette.
Cristina Morais, who has a degree in Business Management from the University of Washington, USA, and a master’s degree in the same field from the University of Macau, succeeds Echo Chan – after seven months – who gave personal reasons for standing down from the role.
The new coordinator of the Support Office to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macau has been the head of the Department of External Economic Relations of the Macau Economic Services since 2009.
Morais will also be appointed Assistant Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Macau Forum. (macauhub/MO)
