Products from Portuguese-speaking countries on display in Guangzhou, China

17 November 2015

Products from Portuguese-speaking countries will be on display in Guangzhou during the “Macau Quality Products Fair – Guangzhou 2016”, taking place in that city from 15 to 17 January 2016, said one of the organisers.

Organised by the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the Guangzhou Municipal Commission of Commerce, the event is described as “a major economic and commercial event as part of closer economic relations between Guangzhou and Macau.”

In addition to products from Portuguese-speaking countries, the fair will showcase souvenirs, cultural and creative products and consumer goods, clothing, food, wine and cross-border e-commerce products, amongst others.

Products on display will be sold to visitors, with other events on the sidelines, such as contact events, cultural and artistic performances, serving as a platform for cooperation between companies from Macau and Guangzhou.

Announcing the event, IPIM said it would showcase products manufactured in Macau, Macau branded products and products of foreign brands sold by Macau companies, and those from Portuguese-speaking countries are considered priorities. (macauhub/CN/MO)
