Trade between China and Macau increased 32 percent year on year to US$3.95 billion in the first ten months of the year, according to official figures from the Ministry of Trade.
The data cited by Chinese news agency Xinhua showed that China exported to Macau goods worth US$3.79 billion and imported goods from the territory to a total of US$160 million.
Trade between China and Hong Kong fell 12.1 percent in the first ten months of the year, year on year, to US$259.9 billion, as a result of Chinese exports amounting to US$251.32 billion and imports that reached US$8.6 billion. (macauhub/CN/MO)
