Group from Zhejiang receives first Embraer Phenom 100E jet in China

Brazilian aeronautical company Embraer has delivered the first Phenom 100E in China, which will be operated by the Wanfeng Aviation Co., a subsidiary of the Wanfeng Auto Holding Group, the company said in a statement.

The Wanfeng Auto Holding Group, based in Zhejiang province, is a private limited company with activities in the areas of car part manufacturing, diverse machinery, investments, alternative energy and renewable materials.

The Phenom 100E is a business jet with a range of 2,182 kilometres, has a maximum cruising speed of 720 kilometres per hour and, according to Embraer, is one of the most powerful and energy efficient in its class, with similar operating costs as turboprop aircraft.

Marco Tulio Pellegrini, CEO of Embraer Aviação Executiva, was quoted in the statement as saying that the Phenom 100E is a light executive jet that has won the hearts of pilots who own aircraft, operators and airline pilot training academies due to being “reliable, efficient and having advanced technology. ”

There are more than 320 Phenom 100 jets in operation in 26 countries. (macauhub/BR/CN)
