Brazilian aeronautical company Embraer delivers 221 aircraft in 2015

Brazilian aeronautical company Embraer delivered 221 jets in 2015, of which 101 wee in the segment of commercial aviation and 120 in executive aviation, the group said in a statement issued Thursday in São José dos Campos, Brazil.

The company said the 221 aircraft delivered last year for those two market segments represented the largest number of deliveries over the past five years.

Of the 101 aircraft delivered to airlines, most – 82 – wee of the E175 model, while the remaining 19 were two E170s, eight E190s 8 and nine E195s.

The 120 jet aircraft delivered by Embraer to the executive aviation segment in 2015 included 82 light jets and 38 large jets, according to infomation released by the company.

In the fourth quarter of 2015, Embraer delivered 78 aircraft to its customers, including 33 for the commercial aviation segment and 45 for executive aviation.

For the final quarter of 2015 in the executive aviation segment the company highlighted the delivery of the first Phenom 100E to a Chinese client.

Embraer ended 2015 with a portfolio of firm orders worth US$22.5 billion. (macauhub/BR/CN)
