Brazil’s Embraer signs agreement with China’s Colorful Guizhou Airlines

Brazilian aeronautical company Embraer has established a long-term agreement with Colorful Guizhou Airlines, of China for the supply of parts for a fleet of E190 jet aircraft, the company said in a statement.

Founded in June 2015, Colorful Guizhou Airlines is the first local airline in Guizhou province and also the first E190 customer in the region, having signed an order for up to 17 E190 (seven firm and 10 options) with Embraer, two of which were delivered and put into operation in December 2015.

Embraer’s replacement parts programme, which currently supports more than 50 airlines worldwide, is designed to enable customers to minimise investments in resources and high cost of storage and rely on the expertise of Embraer and its extensive network of service providers for parts and repairs.

Embraer manufactures commercial jets for up to 130 passengers, is headquartered in São José dos Campos, in the state of São Paulo and has offices, industrial operations and customer service facilities in Brazil, China, the United States, Netherlands, Portugal and Singapore. (macauhub/BR/CN)
