Resort Group’s new hotel in Cabo Verde opens in November

The new hotel of the Resort Group ( that is being built on the island of Sal, Cabo Verde (Cape Verde) – the Llana Beach Hotel – will be ready in November, Cape Verdean newspaper Expresso das Ilhas reported.

The project, costing an estimated 80 million euros, covers an area of almost 75,000 square metres and will offer its guests 600 suites, seven swimming pools, night clubs, five restaurants, meeting rooms and water sports, amongst other facilities.

The Llana Beach is the third hotel built by the Resort Group in Integrated Tourist Development Zone of Algodoeiro on Sal Island and will join the Melia Tortuga Beach Resort and Melia Dunas Beach Resort & Spa.

The first project – Meliã Tortuga Beach Resort – cost 62 million euros and was opened in 2010 and the second cost 121 million euros and started operating in October 2015. (macauhub/CV)
