Next April Guinea-Bissau will host the meeting of businesspeople from China and the Community of the Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), China’s ambassador to Guinea-Bissau confirmed last week.
“We note with satisfaction that within the next few days a meeting will take place between Chinese entrepreneurs, including from Macau, with other Portuguese-speaking countries to find ways to foster our cooperation,” said Ambassador Huang Hua at the end of an audience with the Guinean Prime Minister, Carlos Correia.
Official delegations and businesspeople from Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde (Cape Verde), China, Guinea-Bissau, Macau, Mozambique, Portugal and Timor-Leste (East Timor), will be present at the meeting in Bissau, scheduled for 9 to 11 April
In November Macau is scheduled to host the 5th Ministerial Conference of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries. (macauhub/AO/BR/CV/CN/GW/MO/MZ/PT/TL)
