Chinese ambassador restates support to Angola

The Chinese ambassador to Angola Monday in Luanda restated his country’s support for Angolan development.

The diplomat also gave assurances at the end of an audience granted by President José Eduardo dos Santos, that China will continue to provide the necessary support for Angola to develop.

Cooperation between China and Mozambique was also highlighted in the meeting held in Maputo between Verónica Macamo, president of the Mozambican parliament and the President of the Commission for Foreign Affairs of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Pan Yunhe.

The president of the parliament gave construction of the new parliament building as an example of the assistance provided by China to Mozambique and Pan Yunhe said the promotion of economic cooperation relations between the two countries was one of the priorities of his visit to the country.

Pan said Mozambique’s geographical location is strategic for the logistics development of Southern Africa and he was convinced that the country will become one of the major logistics centres of the continent.(macauhub/AO/CN/CV/MZ)
