An agreement to introduce facilities in granting ordinary visas to citizens of Angola and Mozambique will increase bilateral economic cooperation, said Sunday in Luanda the Angolan minister for Foreign Affairs.
Minister Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti, who Monday starts an official three-day visit to Mozambique, said that following the agreement signed in Maputo in February “entrepreneurs and Angolans and Mozambicans who want to travel to both countries will have things easier.”
The minister, who has travelled to Mozambique at the invitation of his counterpart Oldemimro Baloi, said he would also have other meetings with technical teams of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique.
The meetings will analyses the signing of an agreement in the energy and oil sector, with Angola having already expressed willingness to cooperate with Mozambique, which has discovered large natural gas deposits. (macauhub/AO/MZ)
