The Macau Institute for Trade and Investment Promotion (IPIM) will invite Portugal to be the partner country of the 21st edition of the Macau International Fair, IPIM’s Executive Director Gloria Batalha Ung said Thursday.
On the sidelines of a meeting called “Ideas from Macau, Ideas from Europe,” Gloria Ung said that from this year onward a Portuguese-speaking country will be invited to take a more active part and to gain wider exposure.
“Portugal will be entitled to a special pavilion where participating companies can promote their products and services,” said the Executive Director of IPIM.
Ung said that this year’s edition of the fair, known by the acronym MIF, will start on 20 October and will be “slightly bigger” than in previous years.
The duration of the fair will be reduced this year to three days, after being hosted over four days for 20 years. (macauhub/MO/PT)
