Southern Angola’s biggest business fair, Expo-Huíla, is set to run from 10 to 14 August on the outskirts of the city of Lubango in Huíla province and counts 200 national and foreign company participants, reports Angop news agency.
The motto of the fair, organised by the Agro-Livestock Trade and Industrial Association of Huíla (AAPCIL), is ‘Expo-Huíla, toward diversification of the economy’. AAPCIL president Paulo Gaspar said companies from Luanda, Benguela, Namibe, Cunene, Cuando Cubango, Huambo and Cuanza Sul provinces had been invited.
The foreign companies are from Portugal, Spain, Namibia and South Africa, he added.
The AAPCIL was founded in 1991 and counts more than 600 members. (Macahub/AO/PT)
