Chinese car factory in Brazil launches cheapest model on the market

The car factory of Chinese manufacturer Chery, located in Jacarei, in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, has just launched the cheapest car on the Brazilian market.

The production of the Chery QQ began in April but has only now become available to buy at prices between 29,990 reais (US$9,449) and 31,990 reais (US$10,079).

Chery opened the Jacarei plant, the first located outside of China in April 2014.

The Chery QQ is Chery’s second car to be assembled in Brazil after the Celer model.

The company announced that in the first quarter of 2017 it planned to launch the Tiggo 2 SUV model. (macauhub)
