French companies interested in investing in Cabo Verde

The Prime Minister of Cabo Verde (Cape Verde), Ulisses Correia e Silva said in Paris that from January French business groups will visit the archipelago to study the possibility of investing in the country.

“In the first week of next year, we will receive a visit from three or four big French companies, in the second week, we will have other companies, notably related to maritime transport,” confirmed the Cape Verdean Prime Minister.

At the end of a meeting with twenty companies from the French Employers Association (MEDEF), Ulisses Correia e Silva, said that sectors related to aeronautics, waste water treatment, production of drinking water, renewable energy, and information and communication technologies have shown interest in assessing Cabo Verde’s investment potential.

According to reports from the archipelago’s press during the meeting, the leader highlighted the strategic priorities of government action to attract more foreign investment to Cabo Verde.

“Safe, reliable, predictable and with political stability, these are the natural resources of Cabo Verde,” said Ulisses Correia e Silva. (macauhub)
