Beijing Capital Airlines, a subsidiary of the Hainan Airlines (HNA) group, is due to begin flying between Beijing and Macau on 25 July and on 26 July the airline will start connecting Hangzhou and Lisbon, Radio Macau reported.
The air link between the capital of China and Macau will be offered four times a week.
The flight between Hangzhou, 177 kilometres from Shanghai and Lisbon, with a stopover in Beijing, will have three flights per week, provided by an Airbus 330-200 aircraft with a capacity of 475 passengers.
The HNA Group is a conglomerate founded in 2000, based in Haikou, Hainan, involved in aviation, real estate, financial services, tourism and logistics and other activities.
This group is a shareholder of Brazilian airline Azul and through the Atlantic Gateway consortium, of TAP Air Portugal. (macauhub)
