Brazil’s Embraer delivers 92 aircraft in first half of the year

Brazilian aeronautical company (Embraer) delivered 53 jet aircraft to the commercial segment and 39 units to the business aviation segment during the first half of the year, the company said in a statement released in São José dos Campos.

The aircraft for the commercial aviation segment were mostly E175 models, accounting for 47 units, along with two E190s and four E195s.

In the executive aviation segment, in the first six months of the year Embraer delivered 27 light and 12 large aircraft.

In the second quarter of the year, the company delivered 35 jet aircraft to the commercial aviation segment, with 31 E175, two E190 and an equal number of E195 and 24 units to the business aviation segment.

Embraer noted the high point of the quarter was orders made at the 52nd edition of the Paris Ar Show, which may reach 51 units and represent turnover of US$3 billion.

Embraer is a world leader in the construction of commercial jet aircraft with up to 130 seats, and has industrial units, offices, service centres and parts distribution centres, among other activities in the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe. (macauhub)
