Brazilian aeronautical company Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica (Embraer) delivered 53 jet aircraft to the commercial aviation segment and 39 aircraft (27 light and 12 large) to the business aviation segment in the first half of the year, the company announced in São José dos Campos.
The company’s net revenue in the first half of the year fell by 9% compared to the same period of 2016, due, according to the statement released, to the depreciation of the Brazilian currency, the real, in the period.
In the second quarter, Embraer delivered 35 commercial jets and 24 executive jets (16 light and 8 large jets), compared with 26 commercial jets and 26 executive jets (23 light jets and 3 large jets) a year earlier.
In this quarter, the Brazilian company made a net profit of 192.7 million reais and a profit per share of 0.2620 reais.
