Construction of the Commercial Cooperation Services Complex between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries begins this year

Nine proposals were approved in the public tender for the contract to design and build the Service Complex for Commercial Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, according to the Land, Public Works and Transport Bureau.

The public opening of the proposals took place on Tuesday, and the bureau said the price of the proposals range between 598 million and 1.06 billion patacas, and implementation is expected to begin later this year, with an execution time of 600 days.

The future Complex of Services for Commercial Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries will be located in Praia Grande Bay, next to the Legislative Assembly Building, with an area of about 14,000 square metres.

According to the project, the complex includes an Exhibition Centre for Products from Portuguese-Speaking Countries, a Service Centre for Companies from China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries, an Information Centre, an Exhibition Pavilion on Economic and Trade Relations between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries and Respective Cultures, and a Training Centre between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries.
