The office will support the Mozambican private sector through the dissemination of information and providing training and legal assistance to national entrepreneurs.

The CTA also announced that the office will create a platform to link small and medium-sized enterprises to major projects under development in the country.

At the meeting held in Maputo, a CTA official said one example was US group ExxonMobil’s natural gas exploration project in northern Mozambique and that the Business Support Office could be used to inform Mozambican companies about the types of services that will be needed. (macauhub)
