More than 50 Angolan companies are taking part in the 22nd edition of the Macau International Fair (MIF), to be held from 19 to 21 October, the president of the Angolan Business Confederation (CEA) announced on Tuesday in Luanda.
Francisco Viana also told Angolan news agency Angop that coffee, peanuts, marble and other ornamental stones and drinks are the main products to be exhibited by Angolan companies in an area of 300 square metres.
The president of the CEA was speaking after signing a protocol with the Angolan Investment and Export Promotion Agency (Apiex) for the participation of Angolan entrepreneurs in MIF.
Viana said that during the event, Angolan companies will also present projects that they described as “sustainable and profitable” to the China-Portuguese-Speaking Countries Development Cooperation Fund.
The Macau International Fair received the first exhibition area for products and services from the Portuguese-speaking countries at the 19th edition in 2014. In 2015, the Portuguese Language Countries Products and Services Exhibition took place, and was the first exhibition to be held within another exhibition.
Based on this model in the last two years, the Portuguese Language Countries (Macau) Products and Services Exhibition 2017 will take place autonomously for the first time between 19 and 21 October this year, alongside the 22nd MIF. (macauhub)
